Prepare your requirements in advance

To ensure a smooth transaction, prepare the following documents that may be required from you at different stages of the process:

OFW’s employment contract
Allotment slip (for sea-based OFWs)
OFW’s passport
Government ID (Passport, National ID, Driver’s License, PRC License ID, Voter’s ID, Philippine Postal ID, TIN ID, OFW ID, New SSS ID, NBI Clearance)
Payroll/remittance ATM card or passbook
Sketch of residence with complete address
2 pcs. 2×2 pictures
3 months of recent bank statements of the remittance account

Step 1: Submit your application

You can submit your application through any of the following:

Visit a Globewest branch near you.

Step 2: Credit check and verification

After submitting your application, the next step is verification.

This is where Globewest takes the time to carefully review your information. The process may include:

A visit to your residence for a short interview
Contacting your listed references
Validating the details you provided

This step is important — not to make things difficult, but to make sure everything is clear and in order.

Step 3: Loan contract signing

If your application is approved, you’ll move on to the final step: signing the loan contract.

You will be asked to visit a Globewest branch to review and sign the agreement. During this step, the team will walk you through the important details:

The loan amount depends on the monthly allotment and OFW contract.
The interest rate is 3.5%.
The processing fee is 2%.
Doc stamps and insurance will be deducted from the loan proceeds.

There will be no additional fees, ever.
